The Knot | Kayla + Cody

The Knot recently featured the remarkable wedding weekend of Kayla and Cody. This red, white, and star-themed rehearsal dinner left guests awestruck and excited to witness the couple's happily ever after. Set in the modern Stables of Greengate Ranch & Vineyard, the rehearsal dinner, catered by Field to Table Catering & Events, embraced a romantic and celestial theme.

The carefully curated decor from Bella Vista Designs featured a color palette of red and white, accentuated by the twinkling glow of fairy lights and shimmering star motifs. Epic Entertainment serenaded the gathering, setting the stage for joyous celebrations. Guests also had the opportunity to indulge in stargazing, where telescopes were set up to provide glimpses of the night sky.

From the moment guests received the invitations by Prim & Pixie, they were introduced to the couple's vision. The boxed suite, decorated with pink suede and gold accents, set the tone for the celebration's modern yet romantic theme, which was echoed throughout the event's signage by Lovely Fest.

As the wedding day unfolded, the couple transformed their rustic barn venue into a vision of understated elegance. The ceremony, draped in all-white fabric and illuminated by chandeliers adorned with flowers and vines, exuded an air of timeless beauty. The bride, Kayla, fondly recalls the ethereal atmosphere, "From the outside, it looked very rustic…but inside was gorgeous."

Kayla and Cody’s wedding design was incorporated into every minute detail, including their beautiful seating chart and wood bar. The dusty pink, gold, and wood accents stood out behind the background of Greengate’s natural lush setting.

Beyond the aesthetics, Kayla and Cody infused their heritage and family traditions into the celebration. A teepee photo booth, adorned with their names on a neon sign, paid homage to Kayla's Native American heritage, adding a personalized touch to the festivities. Additionally, the couple honored their grandparents, who had passed away, by reserving three chairs in the front row—a touching gesture that ensured their presence was felt throughout the day.

Family played a central role throughout the day, with Cody's older son, Korbin, proudly walking down the aisle as a groomsman, standing tall beside his father. Meanwhile, their youngest, Beaux, stole hearts as he bravely carried out his duties as the ring bearer.

In every moment, Kayla and Cody's wedding radiated warmth and authenticity, a testament to the love that binds families together and the beauty of honoring one's heritage. As they embark on this new chapter of their lives, they carry with them the rich tapestry of their past, weaving it into the fabric of their future.

Carats & Cake | Alyssa + Stephen

Our latest feature in Carats & Cake is taking us back to Alyssa & Stephen's sweet October wedding. It’s not every weekend that our Grand Lawn is blanketed in pinks so this was a little extra fun to reminisce on!

Lovelyfest Event Design created a neutral toned oasis in the courtyard, outfitting it with rattan and mixed pattern lounges from Scout Rental Co. The disco ball lined barn doors made for an eye catching backdrop to the mixing and mingling of Alyssa and Stephen’s weddings guests while they snacked on light bites from Field to Table Catering + Events and drinks served by Copper + Crystal.

From cocktail hour, guests made their way to the sea of farmhouse tables on the Grand Lawn. Noonan’s Wine Country Designs adorned the tables with blush florals to pair with the pink linens and gold settings - a perfect complement to our famous greenery!

Guests dined well into the evening before moving the party in the barn for dancing and dessert. Come Alive Entertainment kept the crowd going all night, while Paper Cake Events delicious desserts kept them fueled - yum! This was a dream vendor team for a dream couple and we loved every minute of celebrating Alyssa + Stephen!

Filled with touches of fun and unique style, many nods to their sweet (and large!) family, and an epic dance party - the couple soaked up each moment of their perfect day with all of their favorite people.”

Their sweet ceremony at the pond let the nature do the talking with perfectly placed white florals by Noonan’s Wine Country Designs. The celebration then moved to the Grand Lawn for a cocktail hour full of refreshing drinks poured by Hitched Co. and delicious, summertime appetizers by Trumpet Vine Catering. It was a perfect summer night as cocktail hour turned into an al fresco dinner reception in the courtyard.

As Michelle and Brendan slipped away for sunset photos with Jen Rodriguez Photography, Michelle also slipped into a second dress - the sweetest surprise for Brendan! The couple roamed the vineyards of Greengate Ranch enjoying a moment away from the excitement and taking time to be present together, married. The night carried on with heartfelt speeches, cake cutting, and some serious dancing as the two families came together to celebrate the newly married couple!
